Senior Rachel Faith Javier took her passion for performing to a higher level after the passing of her older brother. She plays an ukulele gifted by him and believes it's like he is always with her whenever she performs. Music, she said, is also how she coped with his passing. Today, the high school teen enjoys sharing her talents as part of the Academy's worship team and recently auditioned for "American Idol." Photo by Kirsten Aoyagi.
