The Ala Moana Hotel shimmered as students danced the night away at this year's Winter Ball. A highly anticipated event, it united upper schoolers and guests from neighboring schools for a festive celebration before winter break. Months of anticipation culminated in students showcasing their fashionable dresses and flawless hair and nails. The night was filled with more than just dancing, as attendees savored a delectable dinner buffet, enjoyed live music and captured fun memories in the photo booth.

Emily is a first-year journalism student and a senior at the Academy. She hopes to be able to find connections within the Sacred Hearts community to the outside world and broaden her view of life by telling the stories of others. In her free time, Emily enjoys surfing, hiking, paddling, stargazing, and attempting to bake. A fun fact about her is that she was able to see the NEOWISE comet, which only comes into view of Earth every 6,800 years.
