Parent Organization members sold a special edition of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser to fundraise for Parents and Children Together (PACT).

Sacred Hearts Academy Room Parents (SHARP) organization will sell Keiki Day newspapers in the autoline on May 7 as a fundraiser for People and Children Together (PACT).

“Our parent organization will be supporting this fundraiser to benefit PACT by selling newspapers from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m.,” said lower school Vice-principal, Remee Tam. “All proceeds will be donated to PACT.”

PACT is a leading non-profit organization based in Hawaii dedicated to serving families across the state.

According to pacthawaii.org, its mission is “to promote and support healthy individuals, families and communities by creating opportunities for them to identify and address their own strengths needs and concerns and successfully realize their potential.”

The Keiki Day newspaper features the winners of the 2014 contest whose theme was “What Every Parent Should Know,” in the print and art divisions.

“We have quite a few winners in both essay and art, and they will be featured in this issue,” said Tam.
