Alfonso Cuarón’s science fiction thriller, “Gravity,” begins with Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock), a medical engineer on a shuttle mission, accompanied by longtime astronaut, Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney), on a normal routine space walk when disaster strikes, leading to the complete destruction of the space shuttle. Stone and Kowalsky have a limited oxygen supply and are spiraling in space.

“Gravity” does not solely focus on the science fiction aspect of the film but rather is a thriller.  The silence of space and departure from the world keeps audiences wondering what will happen next.

The movie contains realistic graphics of what space looks like. Those who enjoy thrillers because of the continuous suspense and twists will also enjoy “Gravity”. “Gravity” is recommended for a more mature due to the complex level of critical thinking to comprehend the movie.
