Grandparents’ Days this year will be on Nov. 22 for the high school and Nov. 25 for the lower school.
The Academy annually recognizes grandparents for their impact as role models in their granddaughters’ lives. On these days, students show their grandparents a glimpse of their daily lives as students at the Academy.
The high school will have photos taken with grandparents, Thanksgiving food offering ceremonies in the gym, and light refreshments during homeroom visits. The lower school will also have photos, refreshments and hands-on-activities in homerooms.
The high school will be splitting the day into two time slots with grades 7-9 starting at 7:45 and grades 10-12 at 10:30. The lower school celebrations will begin at 8 and end at 2:30, with each grade level holding their grandparents at a certain time.
