Shaira is a first-year Journalism student and a sophomore at the Academy. This year, as a student reporter, she hopes to improve her writing and photography skills. In her free time, you can find Shaira listening to music and sleeping. She also enjoys boxing and playing basketball. One fun fact about Shaira is that her cousin, Cayeelah Semisi-Hunkin, just graduated last year from the Academy last year (Class of 2025).
