The Ala Moana Hotel shimmered as students danced the night away at this year’s Winter Ball, with junior Ellah Nakaoka at the center of the fun on the dance floor. A highly anticipated event, it brought together Sacred Hearts Academy upper school students and guests from neighboring schools for a festive evening ahead of winter break. Months of preparation culminated in students arriving in formal attire, showcasing elegant dresses, suits and carefully styled hair and makeup. Throughout the night, the ballroom remained lively as students gathered with friends, forming circles on the dance floor and singing along to popular songs played by the DJ. The celebration included more than dancing, as attendees also enjoyed a dinner buffet, live music and a photo booth where groups paused to capture memories from the evening. The annual Winter Ball provided students with an opportunity to socialize, celebrate the semester and share a memorable night together.
