The varsity bowling team had a big win in their game against HBA on September 22nd.

Athletic Director Ryan Hogue said, “Our Lancers defeated HBA 3-0 to claim sole possession of first place and improve to 5-0 on the season.”

Senior Kauaolikokalani Arelliano expressed the happiness and sense of achievement the Varsity team and herself felt as a result for their win.

“Last night’s game was a huge milestone for us,” said Arelliano, “This tough match really showed how capable our team is of being the best, and it was through our hard work and team effort that of which had brought us to that successful point. It made us all feel accomplished and overall, extremely happy.”

Noting that the season is only halfway through, Arelliano notes that the team must continue to work hard and perform the best that they can.

Arelliano said, “Although we celebrated, we also reminded ourselves that we needed to bring the same intensity as we did during all our matches prior.  We hold first place now and we need to uphold that. We are determined to go undefeated, so keep the fingers crossed!”
