The Academy’s Back to School Dance will be held on Friday, Sept. 26, in the Ching Student Center.

The entrance fee at the door will be six dollars. The Class of 2017 is sponsoring the dance as a Project Graduation fundraiser.

Students in grades nine to twelve are invited. Those attending the dance must present a valid school ID to be admitted. Once in, students must remain in the Student Center for the duration of the dance.

There is a dress code: girls can wear skirts, dresses or shorts no shorter than four inches above the knee. Boys must wear shirts with collars with long pants or shorts. The dress code will be enforced.

Senior Minami Inafuku said, “I’m really excited for the dance. It’ll be fun to dance and have fun with my friends.”

Attendees can expect light refreshments at the dance.
