Keira Wheeler, Editor-In-Chief

Keira is a fourth-year Journalism student and a senior at the Academy. She also placed third in Hawaii’s Journalist of the Year contest. As the Editor-in-Chief of Ka Leo, she aims to be the voice of her community but also to lead and mentor others. She hopes to inspire others to pursue Journalism in school and promote the amazing work that Ka Leo’s journalists do. In her free time, you would often find her at concerts, spending quality time with friends, or at the beach. A fun fact about Keira is that she will pursue a fashion business (PR) in the future!
