John Green, popular video blogger and founder of VidCon, authored “The Fault in Our Stars,” a romantic tragedy presenting the relationship of two teen cancer patients.
Hazel Grace, a 16-year-old girl diagnosed with cancer of the lungs, falls in love with Augustus Waters, a 17-year-old patient in remission. The two young lovers share an unusual relationship as both have suffered the pains of chemotherapy and the side effects of it.
The pair is able to spend much time together because of their group therapy sessions, homeschool scheduling and driver’s licenses.
