“Non-Stop,” a French-American mystery thriller, captures the chaotic and life-threatening events that happen during a non-stop flight from New York to London.
William “Bill” Marks (Liam Neeson) is an alcoholic U.S. federal air marshal traveling with his partner Jack Hammond (Anson Mount).
Halfway through the flight, Marks receives a suspicious text stating that one passenger on the plane will die every 20 minutes. Marks consults with his partner only to discover that his partner is smuggling cocaine in his briefcase.
In a twist of events, Marks accidentally kills Hammond in the lavatory when he discovers what his partner is doing and begins the promised one death every 20 minutes.
Marks, co-pilot Kyle Rice (Jason Butler Harner) and cell phone programmer Zack White (Nate Parker) attempt to identify the killer to protect the passengers, but soon many of the passengers start to believe that Marks is behind the plane hijack and try to stop him.
The movie has multiple red herrings and plot twists that keep the audience engrossed.
The suspense thriller is rated PG-13 due to intense sequence of actions and violence, some vulgar language, sensuality and drug references. The film is recommended for mature teenagers and young adults.
