The annual Senior Ohana Luncheon is a time for seniors to appreciate and enjoy the company of their families and classmates. This year, it will be held at the Manoa Grand Ballroom on Mar. 23.
Senior Elizabeth Serrao said, “With college being right around the corner, I have developed a greater appreciation for my parents. I have made it one of my priorities to spend as much time with them before I leave them for college.”
Seniors celebrating with their families is a long-standing tradition at the Academy. It is a time to reminisce about the memories and experiences seniors encountered throughout their years in high school.
Council member Kauionalani Kekuawela said, “I am hoping that the seniors will enjoy this luncheon and realize the importance of making time to have meals with their families.”
At the luncheon, students will enjoy a multicultural menu, performances, games and a slideshow.
