Senior Rhys Low praised her math teacher. “Math has never been my favorite subject but with Ms. Gabriel as a teacher, I feel as if I am actually learning the material. She always tries her best to take the lesson and translate it into terms that we would understand. I really appreciate the extra effort she always makes with all her students to make sure no one falls behind.”
Living In Faith Experience (LIFE) member, Nicole Mari Paz Corpuz, said, “I had the pleasure to get to know Mrs. Miller better over the summer [at LIFE camp in California] and she is an amazing woman. Her faith and warm heart touch everyone who meets her. She is always smiling and trying to help in whatever way that she can.”
Lower school Dean Melanie Ah Soon and fifth grade teacher, Sheila Banigan, are celebrating 20 years.
Senior Innika Pang said, “I really love the unlimited amount of care Ms. Ah Soon had for her students and the approachable atmosphere she created in class. She really cared for all of her sixth graders because she would always plan events just for us and she would approach a student when she needed to catch up with their assignments.”
High school Vice-principal Linda Debo celebrates 30 years of dedication to the Academy.
Senior Dominique Dold said, “Mrs. Debo has always played a huge role in the Robotics team. She makes the effort to come to the Robotics lab whenever she can. She is like a second mother to me because I know that if I ever have a problem, I know that I can go to her for help and she will always find a way to work things out.”
Development Director, Andrea Hamilton, and English teacher, Gaylen Isaacs, celebrate a total of 80 years.
Director of Special Events, Rodney Chang, said, “Ms. Hamilton is very caring for all the students at the Academy. She enjoys keeping in touch with them even after they graduate. She loves hearing about the students’ successes and lives after attending the Academy.”

Junior Haley Clark said, “Sr. Georgene is the most loving and warm-hearted woman whom I have met. She has a special touch that makes me feel comfortable and safe. Her advice and words of wisdom definitely make a huge impact on my life.”
