“Unremembered” by Jessica Brody starts with a 16-year-old girl who is found alive after a plane crash, the sole survivor on Freedom Airlines flight 121.
From the scene of the crash, she is sent to a hospital to be evaluated. Doctors find she has no recollection of boarding the plane. Since she can’t even remember her name, they call her Violet. When the doctors check her, they are stunned to find that she has no injuries.
In the hospital a boy visits her and tells her she isn’t supposed to be there.
Since Violet’s fingerprints are not found in any database, doctors are not able to find her family. Sent to live with a foster family, Violet is desperate to find out who she really is.
When the boy finds her again, he tells her her name is Seraphina.
With this new information, Violet has to choose whether to believe this boy or ignore what he says and continue the life she has now.
