The annual school Club Fair on Sept. 10 gave students the opportunity to tour club booths, acquire information and sign up.
Club members and advisers hosted booths, answering questions about clubs and their purposes.
The Academy has a variety of community service groups, including Interact, Leo, OUR and Soroptimist.
Leo Club president Christine Nguyen said, “Having separate time at the end of the day dedicated to clubs was extremely beneficial. In the past students had to give up their lunch period to sign up, but now they were motivated to learn more.”
Other clubs include Club 5210, Japanese Anime, Lit Corps, Robotics and Speech team.
Liturgical Corps president Tiare Sadarananda said, “Many students were interested in joining Lit Corps after seeing what we have done in the past and talking to current participants.”
Students were exposed to a variety of school organizations they were previously unaware of.
Sophomore Alexandria Montiel said, “At club day I learned about and signed up for groups I newly found out about. I’m grateful we were given this chance because now I can be more involved at school.”
The Club Fair gave students the chance to get involved and learn more about extra curricular-activities.
