The Junior High division celebrated its spirit week with activities from Nov. 14 to 18.
Monday began with Minnie Monday. Students could be seen walking around Sacred Hearts Academy wearing wearing accessories related to Disney’s character, Minnie Mouse.
“For the second day of spirit week, we had Twin Tuesday. On Twin Tuesday, we dressed up as someone else from the seventh or eighth grade. It was really fun getting to dress up as another person,” said seventh grader Maile Evans.
On Wonderland Wednesday, the Junior High got to dress as wacky as possible. Accessories that students used, such as socks, glasses, and headbands, varied in color and size. Students were able to showcase their creativity through different ideas shown on their school uniforms.
For Tangled Thursday, students created wacky hairstyles.
“On Tangled Thursday, I got to see all the different, crazy hairstyles that everyone in my division used. Some girls even had their hair standing up on their heads,” said eighth grader Angie Mara.
The last day of the week was Fairy Tale Friday. Students dressed in their own creations from any fairy tale. The week ended with seventh and eighth graders getting cupcakes.
Eighth grader Emily Ung said, “I had such a good time and it was a really fun experience. Getting together with my classmates made me feel even closer and more comfortable at Sacred Hearts.”
