Students from Sacred Hearts Academy, Damien Memorial School and Saint Francis School, recipients of PWH scholarships, volunteered at Next Step Shelter in Kakaako where   students worked on food prep and coordination of the event.

At the shelter, students read to children and worked in painting booths.

Children also enjoyed several games set up by the scholarship recipients.

The PWH Educational Foundation participates in partnership with the Augustine Educational Foundation to give scholarship recipients financial aid.

The PWH Educational Foundation’s “mission is to enable deserving students the opportunity to receive a Catholic education when it is financially impossible without substantial help.”
