Seven Leo club members volunteered at the Young Athletes Program (YAP) organized by Special Olympics Hawaii at Kaiser High School.

The YAP program strives to improve physical and motor skills of children with intellectual disabilities through simple sports and games.

Leo club adviser Whitney Miyahira said, “The focus is on fun activities that are important to mental and physical growth. This month’s focus was dribbling. Participants completed activities that included bouncing and catching balls and kicking.”
