Earlier this year, the Sacred Hearts Academy varsity volleyball team competed in the 20th Annual Bucs Bash tournament in San Diego, showcasing their skill and determination. The all-girls team finished with a 6-1 record and secured second place in the highly competitive Gold Bracket.

Bailey Leong is a third-year Journalism student and a senior at the Academy. She is also the News Editor and Media Editor. Bailey hopes to step outside her comfort zone and write more articles for the different newspaper sections. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, reading and watching a variety of TV shows and movies. One fun fact about Bailey is that she once wrote a letter to President Barack Obama when she was younger and received a reply from him.
