FOODIE FRIDAY: Honolulu Coffee
Coffee is often described to be one of the best drinks in the world and, depending on your mood, can accompany any meal. Honolulu Coffee, a coffee shop that fronts the Moana Surfrider Hotel in Waikiki, offers customers a variety of drinks and breakfast choices. Not limited to just coffee and breakfast, the shop also sells fruit smoothies and acai bowls.
Serving as a quick and convenient stop for coffee lovers, Honolulu Coffee is known for its quick and efficient system, satisfying those in a rush.
“In order to actually work in machine, we need about a month or so of training, like taking classes, so whoever works the machine are actually skilled on it,” Honolulu Coffee employee, Ken Cheag said.
The atmosphere of Honolulu Coffee is made pleasant for customers and includes several wooden chair and table sets near windows that allow customers to see the streets.
Honolulu Coffee also sells bagged coffee grounds and beans, water bottles, reusable bags and clothes. A premade goods shelf with macaroons, croissants, donuts and other food items are also available for last-minute snacks.
Honolulu Coffee is located on 2365 Kalakaua Ave, Waikiki and is open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. everyday.
