Ella blu Pakele is a third-year Journalism student in her senior year. During her free time, she enjoys reading, trying new recipes, and going to the beach. She is involved in extracurriculars, such as Student Council and PAAC Club, and the Sacred Hearts Marching Band Color Guard. To Ella, being a Journalism student means she can investigate hard-hitting issues and bring forth both perspectives, to better her own and the readers’ understanding. She looks forward to learning more about her community and the many compelling stories it has to share. An interesting fact about Ella is that she is an exceptional opponent in a rap battle; she credits her skill to her high school English classes and dependence on the thesaurus.
