Seventh graders will attend Camp Erdman on Sept. 19-20 to participate in a variety of fun physical activities, including an Odyssey course, high ropes and swimming. Students will depart for the North Shore location in the morning and return to school the following afternoon.
Students will be split into various learning groups. Exercises intend to encourage teamwork, learning more about peers and growing together as a class.
Eighth grader, Madeline Sing, reflected on her last year’s experience at Camp Erdman.
“The activities required a lot of teamwork so we had to gain trust in our classmates. We learned to be open to new experiences, enjoying the time we were able to spend with each other,” said Sing.
The camp wants to enhance communication and cooperation skills of the students as a result of the two-day event.
