High school students checked out more than 30 clubs at this year’s annual Club Fair. The campus was filled with the scent of buttery popcorn and the buzz of conversation, on topics from how to be more eco-friendly to how to use a traditional Chinese lion dance drum. The Eco Club is among the list of new clubs added this year. Juniors Maezal Baria and Chloe Onato educated students on the importance of bringing awareness to the environment.
There are a variety of clubs dedicated to learning more about the unique cultures around the world, including the Diverse Culture Club. This club will explore diversity by way of food and holiday celebrations.
The Creative Arts Club encourages students to pursue and practice various art mediums. The Academy boasts many art electives, though the Creative Arts Club takes a unique student-directed approach to exploring one’s artistic style.
Juniors Ondina Hiel and Adeline Busekrus get zen at their Yoga Club booth. Student yogis will practice yoga during school and sometimes before or after school.
