The Piano Guys’ remix of “Hello” by Adele called “Hello/Lacrimosa (Mozart)” incorporates the original song and the cello’s distinct sounds of longing and reconciliation.

Composed of Jon Schmidt, Steven Nelson, Paul Anderson and Al Van Der Beek, the Piano Guys are talented in musical composition. What started with a piano store named “The Piano Guys” and a group of musicians who wanted to create a positive impact through their music eventually became the musical composition group, The Piano Guys.

Well-known for its emotional pull and strong vocals and since it is the most downloaded song in a single week, “Hello” proved to be one Adele’s most successful songs.

Lacrimosa means to mourn or be tearful and it was composed for Mozart’s “Requiem.” Similar to “Hello,” “Lacrimosa” pulls on the heartstrings of its listeners and talks of loss.

According to the Piano Guys in an Entertainment Weekly interview, they described “Lacrimosa” and “Hello” as “Different centuries, different realms, [with] same emotion.”

The Piano Guys’ “Hello/Lacrimosa (Mozart)” single not only joins two heart-wrenching songs in a musical dance but introduces the beauty of classical music to pop culture.
