Sacred Hearts Academy hosted its annual canned food drives for needy families the week of Thanksgiving. Students in grades JK to 12 donated non-perishable foods, including canned meats, soups, fruits and vegetables.

The foods collected were distributed to St. Patrick and St. George’s parishes in Kaimuki and Waimanalo.

The donations from students and their families tallied more than 1,500 cans.
