Students are invited to attend an event hosted by the Student Council on Friday, Aug. 15 to participate in a workshop led by motivational speaker Harriet Turk.
Workshops will focus on developing communication and problem-solving skills.
Turk is a nationally known speaker who has worked to develop people’s leadership skills for the past 22 years. She holds a bachelor and master’s degrees in Criminal Justice and worked previously as a probation officer and college professor.

Snacks and a light lunch will be provided to participants after the presentation in the conference room.
Students are asked to wear jeans and a school tee-shirt.
