The family comedy, “Mr. Peabody and Sherman,” features themes about family in a humorous way and is enjoyable for all.

Mr. Peabody is an exceptionally intelligent canine and the protagonist of the movie. He has an impressive resume, having attended Harvard University and owning his own time machine. Mr. Peabody adopts Sherman, a young orphan boy.

At school, Sherman is bullied by classmates who tease him because his father is a dog. After one specific incident, the family is threatened with being torn apart. Sherman  attempts to make amends with the antagonizer to avoid being separated from his father, but in the process he is faced with having to appease the bully. His task is made more difficult when he must unwillingly let the bully use the “Way Back,” Mr. Peabody’s time machine.

All ages will thoroughly enjoy this movie because it is funny and teens can relate to the theme of family. Although the film is directed towards younger viewers, teenagers will recognize other themes of peer pressure and bullying in the film.

The movie will captivate its audience with its adorable characters and challenging conflicts. Viewers will absolutely enjoy its fanciful story and recognize its relevant themes.
